Piling caps, floating docks, cleats, dock boxes, and more.

When it comes to plastic-injection molding, you're utilizing extremely heavy "moulds" that look like briefcases. These moulds are similar to an enclosed cookie baking sheet that you stick in the oven. When you're baking cookies, you're filling up the open space with your desired ingredients to produce the unique cookie shapes once baked. In our case, you're injecting polypropylene (cookie batter) into the moulds (baking sheet), with the only space leftover in the mould being the exact size/shape of the desired piling cap. Instead of a star-like Christmas cookie, you're getting a 10'' round cone piling cap!

What happens if you want different sizes?
Well, that results in 50+ moulds, which we currently hold in our Tampa, FL warehouse. This is what allows us to offer piling caps from 3.5'' all the way to 30''. And let's not forget about all the different shapes and colors too! (Like our new light and dark gray options)

What does
"UV-stabilized" mean?
It means that our raw components are made to withstand severe sunlight exposure, ensuring all piling caps weather the test of time, sun & other elements.
